Royal Copenhagen operates high-volume premium ice cream stores in both street-front and shopping centre locations. Each shop produces its own ice cream and bakes it own fresh cones daily in front of customers.
 
Franchising began in 1984 with the opening of our Cavill Ave shop in Surfers Paradise, Queensland. There are now 14 outlets in NSW, QLD,  and SA. Franchises have also been sold internationally in New Zealand Saudi Arabia,Japan,Iran and India.

Financial Details
Capital required is approximately $100,00 - $150,000 for a Shopping Centre Kiosk and $150,000 - $250,000 for a freestanding front operation.
 
Royalty: 6%. All franchisees contribute to a marketing fund, which is capped at an agreed figure annually. Contributions are applied in proportion to each store's previous year's percentage of group turnover.
 
Turnover: On application. Bank finance arrangements possible.

Includes help with site selection, shop design, comprehensive training in our company store and upon opening, in your store training, operations manuals and training videos.
